Nuanu Creative City Honours Women's Month with a series of Immersive Experiences Celebrating Sisterhood, Art and Empowerment

Throughout March 2025, Nuanu Creative City is celebrating Women’s Month with a series of immersive experiences dedicated to sisterhood, creativity, and self-discovery. These events invite women to engage in art, culture, and wellness experiences designed to connect, inspire and empower.

“Nuanu is more than just a destination; it is a living, evolving space where people can share ideas, express themselves, and form meaningful connections. Nuanu is built upon our guiding principle of life—connection between people with people, people with nature, and people with the Divine,’ said Ida Ayu Astari Prada, Brand & Communications Director, Nuanu. She continues, “In this International Women’s Day celebration, we would like to affirm specifically for women to foster sisterhood nurturing creativity, cultural expression and empowerment through open dialogue between women in a women-only space donated by Nuanu, called The Red Tent.”

Keeping the spirit of International Women’s Day alive, Nuanu introduced the Nuanu Experience—Exclusive for Women, a special program held every Saturday in March 2025 from 12:00PM to 8:00PM. This curated journey invites women to explore Nuanu’s unique spaces, including a guided tour revealing the vision behind Nuanu, a trek through Bali’s first multimedia park “Aurora Media Park” where art installations come to life at night, and a walk through the “Magic Garden”, home to Nuanu’s native flora and fauna.

For those seeking relaxation and rejuvenation, “Lumeira”, one of the most well-equipped wellness complex offering signature elixirs and various treatments to heal body and soul. Visitors can also soak in breathtaking sunset views from “THK Tower”, enjoy a refreshing beverage at “Luna Beach Club”, or foster connection with friendly Alpacas at “Pacha Alpaca”, where they can feed and interact with them.

Throughout March 2025, Nuanu reaffirms its commitment to creativity, art and culture by dedicating this celebration to the inspiring women who shape the community. As a tribute to International Women’s Day, the month-long program highlights the contributions of remarkable women—Balinese, Indonesian and international—whose leadership and vision drive Nuanu forward. Inspired by the women of Nuanu, this initiative is a reflection of the creative spirit, collaboration and empowerment that define a global creative hub.

Red Tent: She Unfolds

On International Women's Day, Nuanu Women hosted ‘She Unfolds’ at The Red Tent, a dedicated women-only space designed to dream, create and belong. The gathering brought together over 50 women for a day of deep connection, featuring an afternoon or renewal and rejuvenation curated by CHIKA Moments followed by an inspiring panel discussion with Kania Maniasa, Executive Director of the Green School Foundation, and Karunia Fischer, Founder of RIMMBA The Brand that was moderated by Audtiya Sari, Head of Nuanu Social Fund. Their conversation explored the power of sisterhood in breaking barriers and shaping the future.

The event also included a guided meditation and sound bath by Desak Putu Henny Suandyani with a special Performance by Tigra Rose, followed by the Fire Release Ceremony, where participants symbolically released limiting beliefs and societal pressures into the fire—a powerful act of reflection, renewal, and personal transformation.
